Who we are
Asociación Salud y Familia is a private, independent, non-profit organisation.
Its mission is to assist people in accordance with the principle of impartiality, i.e. regardless of their origin, ethnicity, gender, nationality, social status and religion.

The assistance and services provided by Asociación Salud y Familia cover:
Basic health needs.
Family planning care and voluntary termination of pregnancy.
Legal and psychosocial counselling in the field of family life.
Support for intercultural relations.
Support for basic social needs and settlement.
The families targeted by the Asociación Salud y Familia are all those primary life support structures that crystallise in plural forms of cohabitation and, consequently, include, among others:
a) Diversity of origin, ethnicity and nationality: native families, immigrant families, families of ethnic minorities, transnational families.
b) Diversity of sexual and generational composition: heterosexual families, single-parent families, reconstituted families, homosexual families, regrouped families.
The programmes and services developed by Asociación Salud y Familia are mainly aimed at guaranteeing equal access to public goods, such as health, education, housing and justice, for families and individuals in vulnerable situations or at risk of social exclusion.
Asociación Salud y Familia maintains active collaborative relationships with various public administrations and at the same time develops a sustained advocacy activity in favour of the needs of families and vulnerable people being the object of general interest and economic investment by the public authorities.
