Childhood is essential line
It is a line of benefits available in various programs of Asociación Salud y Familia that aims to prevent and combat child poverty and deprivation.
The portfolio of services includes:
- Facilitate access of foreign minors and pregnant women to public health services. Procedure of the healthcard.
- Help the nutrition of infants from four to eighteen months. The aid is addressed to teen-age and adult mothers of all origins who participate in the maternity support groups.
- Personalized information and guidance on public aids to families with children under eighteen. The guidance offered to mothers and vulnerable families is matched to their profile.
- Inform, guide and accompany mothers and vulnerable families with children under three years in relation to the pre-registration process and access to public kindergartens.

Jornadas de puertas abiertas en los centros educativos (0-16 años)
Antes del periodo de preinscripción, los centros organizan encuentros, visitas y jornadas de puertas abiertas para que las familias puedan conocer su funcionamiento, los servicios que ofrecen y el proyecto de cada centro o el carácter propio de cada uno.
