CONVIVIR: WOMEN’S NETWORK FOR TOLERANCE AND EFFECTIVE RIGHTS OF IMMIGRANT PEOPLE

This newly created Project in 2024 develops the following actions in Barcelona:

• A Women’s Network for Tolerance and the Effective Rights of Immigrants that will bring together leaders from the different immigrant communities with public sensitivity.
• The Women’s Network will promote Meetings on Coexistence and Equal Treatment that will address strategic issues for the prevention of racism, xenophobia, hate speech and other forms of intolerance and will promote a multicultural democratic day.
• The Women’s Network will edit and disseminate various testimonies/life stories of women from immigrant communities in order to identify the existence and medium-term impact of the forms of reception, care and discrimination of the receiving society.
• Public awareness through advertisements in favor of the effective rights of immigrants on social networks and on the Railways of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
